Energy healing aka spiritual healing

What is energy healing?

As humanity awakens spiritually, energy healing becomes not only more and more popular but also more and more needed. Still, there are many outdated concepts, confusion and misunderstandings about it. In this post I am going to share my experience and expertise in energy healing, aka spiritual healing, which I gained as both a client and a healer to help you better understand its practical applications, and choose the best energy healer and healing for your needs.

I first studied energy healing in 1992, when it was considered a fringe pseudoscience at best, not to use the word “crazy”. Fortunately, these days, it is becoming more and more mainstream with crowds of satisfied customers, and growing scientific research to back it up.

But let’s start with a definition — what does “energy healing” mean? There are probably as many definitions as there are healers. Let me give you mine. Speaking in 4D terms, energy healing is an umbrella name for various modalities which use energy to heal ailments of body, mind and/or soul. Although these modalities may use various tools such as crystals, pendulums, oracle cards, singing bowls, etc., and various techniques such as breathwork, hypnosis, sound, etc. their common denominator is that energy is the healing factor. My 5D definition is that energy healing is a transmutation of lower energies into the higher ones, which helps you ascend.

The differences between energy healing and other healing methods

As we collectively ascend into the higher dimensions, we enter an uncharted territory, and therefore we need to leave the old paradigms and ways of thinking behind.

Human languages do not keep up with our energetic reality, hence there is no clear and systematic terminology to describe the healing modalities.

The new healing modalities are channeled every day. Therefore, there are often no schools or even courses teaching them. Consequently, we cannot expect the practitioners to have diplomas, certifications or years of experience.

Energy healing is not based on intellect — it is done from the “heart space”, meaning it results from your alignment with your Higher Self, your Monad and the Source. Hence, practitioners do not need to be educated, intellectual or eloquent.

Energy knows no boundaries — spiritual healing can be done in person or remotely — via video call or a phone call, but it is not necessary. It can be done while the practitioner and the client are in different locations and do not communicate. (I experienced quite a few life-changing energy sessions done by healers, who didn’t even talk to me on the phone — we have just exchanged a few chat messages and a payment before the session.)

Since we are all walking our respective ascension paths and going through our respective healing processes, what is great for others (even your loved ones) does not have to work for you, and vice versa. Moreover, what helped you a year ago may not be what you need now.

Red flags

Not all energy healing is highly vibrational. Energy healing was not invented yesterday. It has been known and practiced for thousands of years. And some of these practices involved connecting with low vibrational energies. Fortunately, nowadays, well-respected healers do not perform sacrifices, dark magic, spell and curse casting or other low vibrational practices.

I believe that we always need to respect the free will of others. Therefore, if I see someone offering spell work, I consider it a big red flag. And that is also why I don’t provide sessions for third parties — the only exception are sessions for minors booked by their parents. That all being said, I include a healing of contracts between souls for my clients and their loved ones based on forgiveness and love.

A whole other red flag set is connected to ego. Spiritual growth is all about learning to follow your own guidance and discernment. Therefore, I would not trust anyone who pretends to know all the answers, does not listen, and who considers themselves to be an intermediary between you and the Divine.

Another set of issues stem from low energy programming — such as greed or fear. You can recognize it when a practitioner is being salesy, pushy, and/or trying to create dependency. That is why, when my clients ask me when they should come back, I answer that one session is enough. (Obviously, they can come back if they want to do more in-depth healing or learn from me, but I give them so much in their first and usually only session, that usually they do not need me anymore.)

And finally, probably the biggest red flag is when a practitioner tries to capitalize on your anxiety, fear and to scare you into purchasing their services. You cannot get high vibrational results following low vibrational patterns.

Paying for energy healing

For some reason, quite many people in the spiritual community ask why one should pay for energy healing. I believe that energy healing is no different from other products and services, and therefore should usually be paid for unless it’s offered for free. Let’s compare energy healing to having a meal. You can go to a Michelin star restaurant if you can afford it. You can go to your regular restaurant of your choice. You can also cook your meal at home if you know how to do it, and have all the ingredients. Sometimes you can get invited by your friends and family to eat at their house. And finally, you can go to a soup kitchen if you are not in the position of doing any of the above.

Some argue that energy is free, and they’re right. But so is, for example, English. And still most English teachers charge for their services. Healers don’t charge for the energy — they charge for their time and commitment. They also charge because they have invested money and time to learn their healing methods — the same as other health practitioners.

The energy exchange aspect tends to be overlooked quite often. I personally believe that there is always some way in which it takes place — maybe it is not direct or obvious, but I don’t believe that energy can flow in only one direction.

Another important perspective is that when you pay for your healing, you show commitment and self-care, and that is why you get greater results. This is especially important while healing scarcity programs and poverty consciousness — I believe they only work as paid services.

Offering free or very discounted healing sessions is a very prevalent practice amongst us, healers. Nevertheless, we are also on our respective healing journeys, and we need to remember to embody self-worth and self-love, and not to sacrifice our wellbeing. These days, spiritual healers charge their clients in order to pay for their own expenses. (As in the past they were paid in food and other goods.) As we keep building the new 5D civilization on Earth, the financial aspect of energy exchange becomes less and less prominent, making room for other types of exchange.

Fun facts

You don’t really need it, because your essence is perfect and divine. The healer is not healing anyone — they are just facilitating, aka channeling, aka holding space. That is why I like to call what I do “energy work”, because the work during the healing session is done by my and my client’s Higher Selves. Nevertheless, you may want to experience healing as a beautiful, sacred co-creation with others.

Your Higher Self chooses this experience before your mind makes a decision, and they are the one leading you to a particular modality and practitioner.

The energy starts to work when you book your session. I saw it very clearly many years ago, when I booked an energy healing session for one of my children. The practitioner gave me an appointment in a week’s time. And before I came to see her, my son’s behavior changed completely.

Sometimes 3D energies may try to hinder your healing, manifesting as obstacles such as a flat tire, financial problems or internet failure. All this is a part of the process. All you need to do is to show up, and show your determination. You can also ask your Spiritual Support Team for help — for example, if you need to manifest money to pay for your healing.

During your session you may experience various bodily sensations: heat, cold, tingling. You can also see and hear things. For example, one of my clients saw moving lights and heard the repeated message: “You have so much love to give!” Interestingly enough, they started to date again soon after this session, and a year later they established a committed relationship for the first time in 20 years.

You can fall asleep during the session, and it will still work perfectly. Since the healing is done from the heart space, your mind is not helping — to the contrary, it can sometimes encumber, and slow down the process. In these instances, your Higher Self can disconnect your analytical mind, so that it does not interfere. Consequently, you can experience trance-like or dream-like states of consciousness during the session.

When we connect with the Higher Realms energetically, we step out of our linear time. And we perceive time differently. A two hour session can feel like a few minutes, and the other way round.

When a lot of healing and energy work is done in some place, its vibration rises automatically. I work remotely from my home office. When I moved to a current flat, 4 out of 5 neighboring families moved out of the building during the first 18 months. And new, higher vibrational neighbors moved in. The only neighbor of mine who stayed went through a profound and beautiful life shift.

If you do not need personalization, and do not want to ask questions, energy healing can be done via a recording and/or in a group setting. That is why I have started to offer a pre-recorded healing session, which is also a cheaper alternative to one-on-one healing.

The healing does not stop at the end of the session — it usually takes at least one night to fully upgrade your energy field. And then the energy can be working in the background for days, weeks, and even months.

Since 5D energy healing is done for the highest good of all, it also helps others — your ancestors, your children, and the collective. I always ask my clients if there are any specific soul contracts with others they would like to heal. One of my clients chose their best friend. The next day, their friend said she was feeling thirsty and exhausted — both signs of having done extensive energy work.

The results may surprise you. Since your Higher Self leads the session, you always receive what you are ready for, and what you need most. Let me give you an example. I remember 2 female entrepreneurs who came to me to work on their romantic relationships 2 months apart from each other. Interestingly enough, they both reported an unexpected breakthrough in their business right after the session with me.

How to choose a healing practitioner and modality?

There are thousands of energy healing modalities, and new ones are being channeled every day, because as we collectively ascend we gain access to the new, higher frequency energies. Therefore, there is a vast range of modalities and methods to choose from. So let me start with how to choose a perfect modality for you.

In my opinion, the most important characteristic of the new high vibrational modalities is that they are guided by 5D spiritual laws, particularly by The Law of One and the Law of Grace. The Law of One refers to the unity consciousness, and makes it possible for the practitioner to connect with the client and their energy field. The Law of Grace implies that the spiritual work is done for the highest good of all, (and it can do harm to none). Whenever the healing is done under the Law of Grace, you receive exactly the healing you are ready for, and you do not have to protect your sovereignty.

The highest good of someone means the highest good of their soul — not their ego. Therefore, the purpose of this work is not to bring you a new car or a new lover, but to help your soul grow. That all being said, if it’s for your soul’s highest good, you can manifest a new lover or car as a result — but it is more of a side effect than the main objective.

Having practiced quite a few healing modalities, and having been on the receiving end of some more, I believe that all healing is based on releasing lower energies such as traumas, thought patterns, limiting beliefs, negative emotions, 3D programming etc. Once we get rid of them, there is room for love, light, and other higher vibrations which automatically fill our physical bodies, our psyche, and our whole energy field. Moreover, most healers work intuitively, mixing and matching different modalities and channeling throughout the session. That is why I believe that finding the right healer is more important than finding the right modality.

I recommend looking for a practitioner you resonate with — you can call it “a good vibe” or “an energetic match” or simply someone who makes you smile. It is necessary that you trust and feel safe with them, and that they feel open-hearted and compassionate. Sometimes they can even feel familiar — like a sister or a brother from another mother — because you have met in past incarnations. Since most healers work online these days, we can choose from an immense catalog. I personally prefer to feel someone’s vibration watching their videos, rather than just reading their words.

If you do not know which healer to work with, ask your spiritual support team for help and trust their answer. Whatever happens, listen to your intuition. Be open to gentle signs, nudges and synchronicities. To give an example, a client of mine told me this. She was feeling so down, she cried in the shower. She asked her Higher Self and her angels to help and guide her. An hour later, my reel popped on her social media feed. She had never heard of me before, but she trusted her guidance, and booked her Soul Records healing session with me.

How to get the most out of your healing session?

First and foremost, relax. The more you relax, the more you heal. If it is difficult for you to trust the practitioner, trust them and your Higher Selves. Do not overthink it, and analyze your healing session — words are secondary to energy. Be as present as possible. Do not distract yourself with your phone, essential oils, music, etc. during your session.

That being said, if you are drifting off to sleep, do not fight it. Just trust the process and relax. You will most probably awake towards the end of your session. If you receive a recording, you can listen to it multiple times when awake and when falling asleep — it will work on your energy field each time.

Drink plenty of water during and after your session — it will help you process the energetic information. In fact, it is perfectly normal to feel unusually thirsty after energy work is done.

Do not go to the supermarket or to the party directly afterward — it is better to avoid crowds directly after the session. However, going for a walk and grounding yourself in nature is always a good idea. Also, try to go to bed early.

You may feel fatigue after the session, and for the next few days, sometimes even two or three. It is perfectly normal. Keep drinking plenty of water, grounding, and resting.

Remember that the bliss you felt afterward is always available to you. The healer is just the facilitator reconnecting you with the Divine. You can always come back to this state.
